For almost four decades, we’ve helped build a stronger, more connected independent eye care community across Canada. Through numerous scholarships and bursaries, we’re also investing in the next generation — supporting the future of opticianry from the ground up.
The Optical Group is proud to support the next generation of Canadian opticians through meaningful scholarships, bursaries, and ongoing partnerships with top educational institutions.
We offer full scholarships for the Optical Sciences – Eyeglass Program at NAIT. These scholarships cover tuition fees and required textbooks for eligible students employed by a member of The Optical Group.
As long-standing partners of Seneca College, we proudly support opticianry students through annual bursaries. Each year, two students in the Opticianry Program receive a financial award to help further their education.
Our commitment includes three annual awards at Douglas College, recognizing student achievement and supporting graduation success in the Opticianry Program. These include both Achievement Bursaries and Graduation Awards.
We offer optical purchasing services, and consolidated billing to Independent Eye Care Professionals across Whitby, Toronto, Ontario, Vancouver, British Columbia, Edmonton, Alberta, and all over Canada.
